I worked for years on The Ultimate Homesteading Basics Book and I was thrilled when it finally arrived! Have you ever been so excited about something that you just can’t hide it? Yep. That’s me. Never in a million years did I think I’d be able to say I took the time and effort to write a 50-page book! I know, that might not seem like a lot to REAL authors but it’s a start, right? Finally, I gathered it all into one place and it fixed all…okay most, of my problems. The Ultimate Homesteading Basics Book gives you the tools you need to troubleshoot on your homestead. It provides a starting point so you don’t have to search and search, burning out before you even begin.

The significance of this eBook

Honestly, it started out as just a normal ole’ eBook. I was tired of forgetting, so I started gathering. Eventually, I got a job and other things started popping up and I completely forgot about the book. It was a distant memory. Then, what do ya know, a pandemic happened.

How does a pandemic have to do anything with this? You might guess ‘time’. NOPE. Once the global health crisis started, my free time decreased somehow. What increased, though, was traffic to Grow Where You Sow (formerly The Green Acre Homestead). People started searching for answers and ways to grow and raise their own food. We all realized that being a little more self-sufficient is a smart thing to do.

After seeing the folks come to my blog in the masses, I knew I had to get this information out there at an affordable price. People were emailing me, asking for my advice. It was invigorating. If you are reading this and are one of the individuals who found my blog looking for answers when this pandemic started, I THANK YOU. Because of your support, I re-devoted myself not only to this blog but to my homestead. You’ve helped me get back to what is important.
